My name is Abi Daly and I am the artist and photographer behind Fragile Art. After finishing my psychology degree and working in education for 11 years, I have decided to follow my childhood dreams and start my own fine art and photography business. As a small business owner, I really appreciate your interest in Fragile Art. Thank you so much for being here!

What is Fragile Art?

We are an independent UK business producing a wide range of original artwork and giclee prints featuring various subjects and mediums such as acrylic and watercolour paint, fine liner, inspirational typography, realistic coloured pencil pieces, abstract paintings, and much more. Fragile Art is also home to Fragile Photography where you can purchase my original photographs. All of our photographs and giclee prints are produced to the highest archival quality in house here at Fragile Art.

Where did Fragile Art come from?

I chose the name ‘Fragile Art’ when I was 13 years old and I wanted a brand name for a handmade card for a family member. Since I was a kid, I have always been passionate about art, making it impossible for me to choose a favourite medium or subject. Sadly, when I was at school, art and creative subjects were seen differently and I was encouraged to pursue academic careers instead and art was never presented as a possibility for me. After completing my psychology degree and working in educational mental health with SEND for eleven years, I finally believed in myself enough to pursue my own dreams. I left education to become a small business owner and I now run Fragile Art independently. I currently have an unrelated part-time role alongside running my business and I believe that one day, I will be living my dream as a full-time artist. After launching my website and seeing my childhood ideas come to life in my creations, it feels like I am already living my dream.
